Civil War Day will be Cowtown's first communitywide event of its Spring/Winter Season! The day is for history buffs as well as individuals and families who are interested in being entertained in a unique setting!

Civil War Day will give adults and children a glimpse into the daily lives of Union and Confederate soldiers and their families through a battle re-enactment between the North and South, displays of period weaponry and military drills.

Such authenticity will be made possible by Civil War re-enactment groups and a full lineup of entertainment (groups TBA).

The re-enactors will also set up historically accurate soldier and family campsites around Cowtown that visitors are encouraged to visit and walk through.

In addition, there will be many vendors throughout the grounds selling merchandise inspired by the era.

For more information about Civil War Day, contact Cowtown at (316) 219-1871.
