Period Attire

Time-period, accurate clothes and accessories for history interpreters at Old Cowtown Museum are essential to the authentic living history atmosphere. The Museum staff and volunteers have researched how people dressed in those early days of Kansas. Whenever possible, actual recreated patterns of the later half of the 19th century have been used to create various articles of clothing for history interpretation.
