Old Cowtown Museum is an open-air, living history museum that interprets the history of Wichita, and Sedgwick County.
The Museum accomplishes this through the preservation of artifacts, exposure to interactive historic experiences, and other activities using educational and entertaining programs.
The museum is owned and operated by the City with the support of the non-profit Board of Trustees, private donors and members.
